    29    Unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce the crash you see by
    30  disconnecting and reconnecting the external display from your Mac laptop.
    31  I tried for an hour probably 30 times and never got the ChimeraX daily
    32  build to crash.  I have a different model MacBook Pro (M1 Max) from yours
    33  and a different display (Samsung 2560x1440).  It could be my different
    34  hardware does not crash, or it could be I am doing different steps.

    36    If you have time could you test and tell me whether a very simple set of
    37  steps causes the crash?  For instance, have your laptop connected to the
    38  external display, start ChimeraX daily build (note the version in the Log
    39  pane), disconnect and reconnect the monitor and see if it crashes, try it
    40  2 or 3 times maybe.  If that does not crash for you then what extra steps
    41  are needed to make it crash?

    44  We will keep getting ChimeraX crash reports and hopefully be able to
    45  figure out how to reproduce it and fix it in the future.
