    3 The low-res surface pick was returning a PickedModel of the root model rather than the surface model.  So the correct "select #1.1" command is now issued.  However, that command does not show a selection outline around the surface, so reassigning to T.G.  That command does not show a selection outline around the surface in 1.4 either, which seems like a bug to me.  Picking the surface in 1.4 does show an outline but issues no command.
