The LookSee Quest VR app collects no user data and does not transmit or receive any information from the internet unless receiving files from ChimeraX is enabled or the meeting capability is used.
When the "Receive files from ChimeraX" option is enabled in the Options panel, LookSee will accept GLTF format files transfered from ChimeraX. The files are transfered directly from the desktop computer running ChimeraX to the Quest VR headset without using a server. Files can be transfered using a local network without internet access.
When participating in a meeting direct connections are made from all participant VR headsets to the VR headset that started the meeting and models opened by any participant are transmitted to the other participants. No server is used, and the meeting can function on a local network with no access to the internet.
