Deleting scene leaves it in timeline

Description
I clicked on a scene in Scenes GUI and pressed delete to delete it.  However, it had been previously added to Animations and was still shown on the Animation timeline.  Seems like it should be deleted in both places

It seems like it should be removed from the timeline. There is a trigger that fires when a scene gets deleted that the Animation tool could listen to.
