Description
On Mac 10.8 and 10.9 there are default 3-finger drag multitouch actions to swipe between apps in full screen mode and to show Mission Control. These interfere with 3-finger drag in Hydra to do translation. While the Mac defaults can be disabled that may be undesirable. To work around this allow a 2-finger multitouch drag with the control (or option or command) key held down to do translation.

Currently Hydra uses 2-finger trackpad drag for rotation and 3-finger drag for translation and other mouse modes such as map contour level change. These work for me on Mac OS 10.9 without invoking Mac Mission Control or other Mac drag features, but I probably disabled some default Mac 3-finger drag options in Mac system preferences. It looks like I disabled 3-finger swipes under the More Gestures tab of the Trackpad system settings.
